Our legendary music summer camps in Frederick, MD are designed for campers of all levels who want to bang, strum, and sing their way through an unforgettable week. Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been owning the stage for years, there’s a camp for you. Pick your passion, grab your gear, and get ready to rock!

Each camp runs Monday–Friday, 10 AM – 2 PM with a final performance on Friday night to show off everything you’ve learned.
Who Can Join?
Ages 7-18, all skill levels welcome! Whether you play guitar, drums, bass, keyboard, or sing, there’s a spot for you.

June 15 - 19
Rock Band Camp
Turn up the volume with our Rock Band Summer Camp! Campers of all skill levels will dive into hands-on band coaching, sharpen their chops on guitars, drums, bass, keys, and vocals, and collaborate with fellow musicians to build tight, high-energy performances.
June 29 - July 3
Pop Star Camp
Step into the spotlight with our Pop Star Summer Camp, where campers learn to sing, play, and perform today’s biggest pop hits with confidence and style. Each camper grows their stage presence while mastering the skills that make pop stars shine. The week culminates in a high-energy showcase where campers take center stage and deliver their best performances yet.

Rock Band Camp
Our Rock Band Summer Camp is all about teamwork, creativity, and making music with friends. With expert instruction, daily group rehearsals, and real performance opportunities, campers gain confidence while playing the songs they love and discovering new ones. By the end of the week, each band will be ready to take the spotlight in a final live performance.
August 3 - 7
Rock Band Camp
Get ready to rock together in a dynamic camp experience where young musicians form bands, refine their sound, and learn the ins and outs of performing live. From tight grooves to killer solos, campers receive individualized instruction and group coaching to help them grow as players and performers. The week wraps up with a show-stopping performance that celebrates their hard work and new skills.

Do I need to bring an instrument?
Nope! We have instruments available for beginners, so just bring yourself. If you already have an instrument, you are welcome to bring it.
How much does summer camp cost at Let There Be Rock Schools Frederick?
Summer rock band camps at Let There Be Rock Schools Frederick are a week long (Monday - Friday) and cost $350 for non-students and $300 for current Let There Be Rock Schools students. To register and reserve your spot, we require a $50 deposit that goes toward the total cost of the camp.
Is lunch provided?
Lunch will only be provided on last day of camp, Friday, when we have the pizza party before the final performance. Monday-Thursday students should pack a bag lunch.
Do you have to know how to play an instrument to sign up for camp?
No, we love teaching beginners! Camp is a great way to get started and learn a new instrument, including vocals. Every student will have a way to participate in the final performance at the end of the week!
What is the camp schedule?
Each camp runs Monday - Friday 10am - 2pm with a final performance on Friday at 2pm.
Do I have to be enrolled as a Let There Be Rock Schools student to participate in camps?
No, our camps are open to everyone who wants to participate! Current Let There Be Rock Schools students do get a discount on camp prices.
Can I sign up for more than one camp?
Yes, of course! Camps are open to everyone and we love working with students to build on what they have learned throughout the summer.
